This is the first novel I wrote, back in the late 90s. It's a dark urban fantasy piece, and I wish like hell I'd had the guts to publish it back then, before that shit got crazy popular.

It follows Taran Walker as he finds his place in this world after everything around him falls apart. Rife with action, humor, romance, and history, read as Taran and his friends find that they are part of a chess game that stretches back millenia. Gods and all manner of supernatural creatures go to war as Taran and his team dive into the conflict.
